The Commercial finance business manager will provide hands on, data driven, business support to the management teams of a growing legal firm.

Description

An all encompassing role which requires a broad mix of financial, analytical and business acumen. The objectives of the role are to ensure that there is robust financial management of the business with a strong focus on improving profitability.

This will be achieved via in depth analytical support on regional profitability by office, team, subject matter and client.

The role is also responsible for budgeting, re-forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. Input and advice regarding pricing of bids, tenders and client proposals also fall under the remit of this role.

Profile

The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified accountant, or a holder of an MBA, with:

• Significant experience in a management or operational role in a leading organisation with P&L accountability.

• Experience of Legal/Consultancy/business strategy/professional services would be highly advantageous.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
