Our Client, a well-known market leading FTSE 100 company within the retail and FMCG industries are looking for bright, highly ambitious and determined Graduate Finance Analyst to join their Finance team. This fast-paced yet supportive environment can offer opportunity to complete ACCA/CIMA studies whilst also offering a challenging environment with fantastic opportunity to progress.

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 Finance based degree or higher from a reputable university with strong academics. The individual must have had either a placement year within commercial finance or at least 12 months experience post-graduation. Actively studying ACCA/CIMA with the expectation of qualifying within the next 2 years will be essential along with having strong excel skills and an analytical mind-set with a strong commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities of the role:
-Assisting in the preparation and completion of the period end accounts
-Production of Overhead Expenditure Reports
-Balance Sheet reconciliations
-Production of the monthly control file
-FCF control testing
-Reconciliation of Chip & Pin & Cash Suspense accounts
-Production of the monthly CE machine installations report
-Control of repairs & maintenance expenditure
-Control of ingredients expenditure & calculation of stock at machine
-Production of the monthly Vat returns

What we are looking for:
-Strong academics with a 2:1 or above in finance related degree
-ACCA/CIMA studier looking to qualify within 2 years
-Retail/FMCG sector experience
-Strong excel/modelling skills with analytical mind-set
-Ability to communicate with non-finance colleagues
