BT Wholesale and Ventures are recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to support a sustained period of growth.
KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE
Provides commercial support to complex / transformational deals within the Wholesale business.
Creates pricing / deal construct frameworks that can be used by the products and commercial unit for Wholesale to manage standard / multi product line deals.
Creates ideas and commercial interventions that meet / exceed financial targets.
Delivers financial and commercial decision-making that supports sustainable profitable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops financial and commercial insight to support pricing propositions and new service bundles to meet customers' needs by building clear business cases.
Updates product models on a monthly basis to ensure fit for purpose.
Manages the post deal review process for standard deals and multi product line deals.
Drives commercial financial analysis and insight.
Recognised best practise methodologies for identifying and qualifying commercial interventions.
Challenges commercial propositions to drive top line growth.
Supports and challenges key internal stakeholders, the ability to challenge the status quo and provide value-add insight.
Strong commercial awareness
Makes decisions and exercises own judgement well.
Ability to work on multiple projects to tight timescales.
Must be reactive (in response to bids) and proactive to drive the sales teams.
Ability to generate new ideas and drive forward independently.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Proven experience of complex commercial support including pricing and bids
Senior stakeholder management experience
