Assistant Accountant£28,000 - £32,000 + BensRadlett, Hertfordshire Our client, a high-growth and exciting SME with a loyal and expanding customer base, is looking to source a confident and self-motivated Assistant Accountant to join its close knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-rounded accounts professional to join a business with a supportive and enjoyable culture, offering long-term security and flexible working hours (still 5 days a week). Main duties include:* Preparing monthly management accounts * Month end journals including accruals and prepayments * Site analysis (monthly P&L)* Balance sheet reconciliations* Bank reconciliations* Invoicing and uploads* Stock analysis * Credit limit applications* VAT returns* Monthly review of rebates provided to clients The successful candidate will have well-rounded accounting experience in all the above areas and be capable of hitting the ground running and working autonomously. You will ideally be AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified. Excel skills must be of an intermediate level and any experience using Sage will be advantageous. Aside from a technical skill set, you will be a confident communicator and apply a positive and proactive approach to your work.
