Commercial Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Finance team here at Matalan as a Commercial Finance Manager. As a Commercial Finance Manager you will accurately report on and challenge the business`s trading KPI`s and investments across all business channels. Commercial Finance Manager- Therole Challenge the Ecommerce team in all aspects of their performance and drive out action plans to address issues. This includes Ongoing commercial review of the Ecommerce P&L and short term plans to address immediate issues, influencing courses of action and ultimately supporting the business`s strategy.Identifying and highlighting courses of action within the Ecommerce function that may be detrimental to the business and assist in the development of alternative actions.ROI and payback analysis for store refurbishment programme.Work closely with marketing to produce and analyse Multi-Channel reports to help determine future marketing strategies of the business.Maintain an accurate and timely daily sales report for all UK business channels, detailing key website KPI`s, and with analysis on daily movement.Ongoing analysis on profitability of online only buys/online only promotions, and provide B&M/Ecommerce teams with valuable information to influence future buys.Work closely with B&M and Retail in reporting on key business events, providing valuable analysis for the business to take action on.Work alongside Marketing and B&M to produce a valuable analysis on Mailer and other Marketing campaigns.Work closely with the Ecommerce team during Budget process to product accurate KPI`s that influence the cost base.Ad hoc support to Senior Commercial Finance ManagerLine management of a commercial analyst within the team providing continuing support and development opportunities to aid their progress.Effectively network with peers across the department and in the business in order to build effective working relationships and support high standards of output across the wider team Commercial Finance Manager- The Candidate: Full CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification.Proven experience in a finance team.Ability to build strong relationships across the businessA strong analytical approach.Strength of character to support and influence senior decision makers.Used to adapting and dealing with change.A passion and desire to complete tasks to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
