Build and Release Engineer My client a leading investment firm are looking for an experience Build & Release Engineer to join their talented team based in Limerick city. This company are a growing business solutions company focused on infusing technology into the traditionally offline processes of corporate access and investor outreach. What you will do: The Build and Release Engineer will be the main person responsible for managing the deployment of all applications to Developers, Integration Test, Quality Assurance (QA), User-Acceptance Test (UAT) and Production environments. This role will work in collaboration with the Technical Leads, Operations and Client Services, and will report to the VP of Information Technology. Responsibilities/Duties • Develop and enhance build environments for complex global software product development. • Administer and support source code management tools. • Develop, enhance and maintain automation tools to assist with software deployment. • Partner with Software Quality Assurance who tests code quality. • Deploy our application to the following environments: • Integration Testing (Dev) • Quality Assurance (QA) • User-Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Production • Manage release notes for each release. • Review entries from developers and database administrators • Assist in production support duties. Skills you have • Degree in computer science or equivalent • Solid understanding of SDLC and how development works. • Subject matter expertise administering software configuration management tools. • High level of experience running automated builds and deploying web-based applications into test and production environments • Deployment of Windows Service applications • Deployment of Web Services • Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft TFS focusing on its source code management functionality • Experience writing and modifying build scripts • Experience with Windows operating systems • Experience with Linux & LAMP • Solid interpersonal, communications and partnership skills • Eager and self-motivated to learn new technology • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Benefits Competitive salary and a generous range of benefits Please contact Leonie Gleeson on 0214221000 to discuss this role or similar in full confidence.
