Client Details

We are recruiting a sales ledger (accounts assistant) for a leading FMCG brand based in Chelsea, London.

They are looking for someone to join them on an immediate temp basis for 3 - 6 months and would like to make this role permanent on performance review at £24,000 - £26,000.

Whilst it would be advantageous to have prior experience within a sales ledger/accounts receivable role, the business is open to hearing from candidates who have covered a broad accounts assistant position with a focus on the sales ledger.

You will be working in the finance team but will be solely responsible for the sales ledger function.

Description

• Full ownership of the sales ledger
• Invoicing - raising all customer invoices
• Dealing with any queries
• Chasing for payment
• Creating weekly outstanding invoice reports
• Processing returns
• Processing all debit notes
• Posting all incoming payments
• Assisting with credit applications for customers

Profile

If you are a great team player who has some strong experience in accounts (ideally focusing on sales ledger) then we would love to hear from you.

This role is to start on an immediate basis, so please check your notice and make sure this is less than a week!

If you have used SAP systems this would be extremely beneficial, however we are open to applications from candidates who have used a variety of systems from Oracle, through to Sage systems.

This position will require you to be comfortable in working to tight deadlines, and to be extremely well organised.

Minimum qualifications of Maths & English GCSE passes are required.
