Our Project Finance and Infrastructure team advises clients on financial, procurement, strategic and public-private partnerships issues for large-scale infrastructure projects and programs. Join this team and you will help provide support to our clients from the earliest stages of analysis project evaluation to procurement, financial close, construction and operations. You will assist our clients in devising and comparing financial plans and delivery approaches for projects that involve public, federal or private financing; project revenues; and/or grants – and provide support to our clients in their implementation of those plans.

The opportunity

We’re looking for experienced, dynamic Infrastructure Advisory specialists to join our Corporate Finance (TAS) team as part of our continued growth and success in the in the Asean region

As part of our project finance team, you’ll develop your commercial capabilities working with our global networks and fast-moving, emerging clients. Our diverse client portfolio will build your capabilities in pitching, briefing, managing relationships and challenging assumptions. Your key responsibilities

In Infrastructure Advisory you will;

  • Have experience in the infrastructure sector particularly; power and utilities, transport, resources, health and education sector projects. Experience in the UK and Australia in the PPP / PFI and project financing sector would be advantageous, as would Asian experience
  • Have worked on developing and managing key client relationships and deal origination capabilities from securing advisory mandates to achieving transaction closure acting on government and private sector transaction in the infrastructure sector
  • Knowledge of PPP/PFI, concessions and acquisition and project financing structures / contracts they relate to the infrastructure sector advantageous
  • Project Financing knowledge, with understanding of project financial modelling and financing markets, would be highly valued
  • Understanding of economic or social infrastructure procurement and delivery
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English. Ability to read and write in an South East Asian language would be helpful

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience in a top-tier advisory firm, infrastructure service provider, bank, relevant government agency or other relevant sector.
  • University degree preferably majoring in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management, Law or Engineering from reputable overseas and local universities. Ideally to Masters degree level
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, ASIA, CPA, CA and CMA, considered an advantage.
  • A high performance professional who can articulate a value proposition, developing business cases / models and lead and advise on projects in the infrastructure sector from bid stage to financial close
  • Be willing and able to travel, when necessary.

Ideally, you also have

  • Advanced financial modelling skills, project finance modelling experience would be an advantage
