Cloud Accounting Management Accountant

This role is very much a half way step between practice and industry. Rather than working for one business, you will work (dependent on experience) and manage a team of bookkeepers and management accountants, servicing a range of businesses and sectors in Kent and across the South East. In return, you will have a lot of autonomy, great client relationships and a lot of variation.

Client Details

This client based near Chichester is a well known, large independent accountancy practice with a great reputation in West Sussex and further afield. They are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team and to take on a portfolio of clients in the South East.

Description

This role will include a mix of statutory accounts, management accounts and fundamental tax. You will manage a small team of assistant management accountants and bookkeepers servicing a selection of local clients.

You will have an all round knowledge of their business and build long term relationships with the clients. You will also have the ability to offer further business services.

You will report directly in to the Partner based in the office near Chichester and there will be clear progression prospects to director / partnership in near future.

Profile

AAT and ACA or ACCA or Qualified by experience

Previous practice experience would be beneficial

Experience in Management Accounts is essential

Sage or Xero experience would be advantageous

Working in either industry or practice in an accountancy position.
