This exciting Group Reporting Analyst role is an opportunity for a part-qualified / finalist accountant to get involved in supporting group reporting and forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis in addition to providing statutory accounts for various companies within the group.

Description
As the Group Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for the following:
Consolidation:
- Review of unit monthly reporting submissions.
- Assist in the monthly group consolidation.
- Compilation of monthly group board and executive packs
- Ad-hoc analysis.
Weekly reporting:
- Consolidation of various weekly reports from around the group, reviewing and publishing for the board and other Group executives.
Support of corporate accounting process:
- Preparation of weekly cash flow report
- Maintenance of fixed asset schedules
- Analysis of actual spend versus budget for functional areas
- Reconciliation of inter-company accounts
Management Reporting of certain Holding Companies:
- Preparation of monthly accounts and COGNOS reporting as appropriate.
- Reconciling intercompany balances within the Group.
Yearly requirements for a number of central holding companies:
- Maintenance of books and records
- Preparation of the statutory accounts.
Other duties:
- Ad hoc information requests.
Profile
To be considered for the role of Group Reporting Analyst, you must have the following:
- Part-qualified / Finalist Accountant
- Educated to Degree Level
- Experience in an international company
- Advanced Excel - SUN, COGNOS and Vision experience an advantage
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken
