Reporting to the regulatory reporting manager within the Group Finance team, the remit of this role covers insurance accounting, asset and investment reporting and regulatory reporting, monitoring and analysis.

Description
Assist with the technical insurance accounting fro the groups underwriting entities across the UK, Europe and US in line with IFRS
Prepare management information packs for the group and the subsidiary boards as well as the groups investment and risk committees
Review and process treasury returns from the groups subsidiaries and investment holding reports from external fund managers
Reconcile asset reporting to accounting results and proactively research differences, working with colleagues in multiple locations
Provide solvency reporting input to regular monthly management information prepared by the Group finance team for the group and subsidiary boards
Assist in the preparation of the group and subsidiary quarterly and annual solvency II reporting and the annual Group SFCR
Significant involvement in the financial statements audit of the UK and Gibraltar based insurance entities as well as the audit of the annual SFCR
Profile
Recently qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
Self-motivated, pro-active with a can-do attitude towards work
Strong task management skills including an ability to prioritise tasks and regularly manage multiple deliverables
Good knowledge of financial controls and exposure to data quality assurance processes
Strong Microsoft excel skills
