Investigo Finance are recruiting an **Accounts Technician
Xero/ Quickbooks f**or a cloud based accounting firm based in **Milton Keynes**.
In the position of **Accounts Technician** **Milton Keynes** you will manage a portfolio of live accounts reporting into the Accounting Manager with core duties to include:
- Manage a portfolio of clients supporting all statutory and management accounts - Nominal Ledger maintenance to include AP & AR - Processing Journals and finalising Trial Balances. - Preparing VAT returns - Update the internal ERP tools to include Xero/ Sage and Quickbooks - Resolve account queries and attend client meetings along with the senior associate
**The profile**
The successful candidate will need to either Part Qualified (AAT OR ACCA OR ACA) or Qualified by experience
Previous accounting experience ideally within a practice firm
Previous cloud based ERP systems experience preferably in Xero
Ability to adhere to tight month end deadlines
**The Salary**
£24,000
