Junior Accountant - Initial 12-month maternity contract - Flexible working options A rapidly scaling international Food and Drinks brand based in High-Wycombe requires a proactive and career focused Junior Accountant to join them in their next stage of growth. This is initially intended as a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave within
the team. However due to the growth of the company it is highly likely that it will become a permanent role, with study support available. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this individual will join an organisation that has an impressive and recent period of growth. Having had a significant market impact, the company are approaching a new and exciting phase of expansion, which
will also see significant investments being made in their team. Candidate requirements: Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with 1-2 years experience
OR a recent Accounting/Finance related graduate
Strong Excel skills - pivots, lookups etc Excellent written and verbal communication Able to use own initiative and to take responsibility for decisions Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Proactive and motivated to embark on a succesful accounting career The Role Assist the FC in a broad range of responsibilities across junior finance Month end close and reporting inc. journal entries, payroll, revenue and prepayments AP invoice processing and payment runs Managing vendor queries and resolving discrepencies Maintennance of the fixed assets register Analysis and reconciliation of bank statements and general ledgers Process expenses along with a range of ad-hoc tasks and projects Further room to take on AR/Credit Control, VAT and financial controls responsibilities as the role develops Please apply via the website or contact Alex Baxter Smith at Harvey John for more information.
