We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Portfolio Manager, Asia Pacific Finance (One Year Contract).

Principal responsibilities
  • Support the portfolio management for key portfolios of the Finance function through the programme management office and project accounting activities
  • Assist the regional finance portfolio manager to measure project delivery against the agreed criteria reporting status to stakeholders and drive the finance governance forum to provide oversight of the finance change portfolio.
  • Working with key stakeholders across the region to manage finance portfolio demand prioritisation and governance across finance deliverables, funding and resource issues.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with key Finance stakeholders in delivering governance and control to these programmes and projects impacting the Finance function.
  • Holistically review the impact on people, process, systems for the finance change portfolio
  • Identify and coordinate demand for Business As Usual and change resources across all Finance sub functions.
  • Link up key stakeholders to present a holistic view of dependencies, and ensure continuity in the end to end closing and reporting process.
  • Ensure Finance projects adhering to Global Finance governance standards and methodology.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University level degree. MBA beneficial.
  • Have proven experience working with large complex organizations in a project management role.
  • Excellent problem solving skills including issue identification, hypothesis development, problem structuring, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to business problems based on facts and data. Experience with Finance Change Management beneficial.
  • Overall financial services industry knowledge with a focus in one or more areas such as retail banking, wealth management, digital, payments, commercial banking, trade.
  • Experience in managing others and directing work efforts to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent facilitation skills and experience in managing stakeholder requirements and design sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and navigate an organisation using formal and informal networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Delivery focused, and able to prioritise own work and meet and manage deadlines.
