Delivering high-quality research and analysis to investors around the world, the Global
Research team covers economics, currencies, equities, fixed income and climate change to help our clients best navigate and make sense of turbulent global financial markets. Global Research offers fundamental, cross-asset, technical and quantitative analysis presented through multiple platforms and formats.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate Director, Multimedia Global Research.

Principal responsibilities
  • Day to day coordination and production of multimedia within the Asia Pacific region of Global Research and for projects assigned as part of the global teams commitments.
  • These productions include video interviews, pieces to camera and packages, podcasts, webcasts and video promotions.
  • The ability to perform on camera or on microphone in the role of a presenter is essential.
  • The producer must have a strong editorial background and experience in multimedia production covering economics, currencies, fixed income, equities and ESG issues.
  • It is essential for the producer to provide hands on editorial direction and coaching for analysts on camera facing presentation skills, including those working with English as a second language.
  • The ability to video edit to a high standard is critical
  • The ability to read and understand detailed analyst reports and identify key information to be included in multimedia content is essential.
  • The role requires proven writing ability for tasks such as scripting voiced packages and podcasts.
  • Familiarity with use of video equipment including camera, lights, microphones etc is important, as not all videos will be filmed by a professional vendor
  • Visual creativity and a flare for smart, conversational story telling are a must, ensuring that all multimedia is produced in a stimulating, engaging and digestible manner


Qualifications
Requirements ​
  • Relevant years of experience in Multimedia editing
  • Hands on editorial direction and coaching for analysts on camera facing presentation skills, including those working with English as a second language.
  • Strong editorial background and experience in multimedia production covering economics, currencies, fixed income, equities and ESG issues
  • The ability to perform on camera or on microphone in the role of a presenter is essential
  • Resourceful, with solid analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Proven track record of working with management at different levels and delivering on complex projects independently
