Wade Macdonald are working exclusively with a fantastic bluechip organisation based in Reading with the recruitment of a General Ledger Accountant to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities of the General Ledger Accountant:

- Responsibility for General Ledger accounting and Balance Sheet reconciliations across a range of entities in EMEA - Assist with monthly / quarterly and annual closes, working to tight deadlines. - Provide financial advice and commercial analysis to aid and support decision making across functions. - Assist with multiple adhoc projects where required.

Required experience of General Ledger Accountant:

- Experience working in a fast paced / shared service environment. - Previous accounting experience. - Background working to tight deadlines.

What are we looking for:

To be a success within this role you will have strong IT, namely Excel skills and ideally be studying towards qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
