Our client, a leading business in the manufacturing sector, is seeking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a temporary basis, to support the business whilst going through an exciting period of change.
**Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant:**
- Assist with the production of management accounts - Financial analysis and ad hoc support for management and other key stakeholders - Undertaking VAT calculations and submitting VAT returns - Reconciling of bank statements & cash management - Preparation and posting of journals and accounting entries relating to the role - Raising and distribution of invoices - Resolving queries and discrepancies - Adhoc admin and finance duties
**About you:**
- AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA or equivalent - Experience of working in a manufacturing environment - Ability to work with integrity and absolute discretion - Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel and accounting systems (Sage) - A team player with an enthusiastic, positive attitude - Proactive, organised and with a can do flexible attitude - Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet tight deadlines
