Internal Audit Manager

My client is a retail business based near Slough. They are looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join the team after the previous Internal Audit Manager was promoted. They have a track record of promoting from within, so there are great opportunities for growth within the business. The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for managing a team of two from the office in Slough. Travel will also be part of the role, although only 30% of the time. Key Responsibilities: To work closely with the Senior Audit Manager in managing and undertaking audits. To work closely with external partners in the planning and the delivery of internal audit reports, as well as internally managing a team of 2.Perform at least 1 audit every month whilst overseeing the internal auditors. You will need to be able to commit to 30% travel throughout Europe. The successful candidate will have: Will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA qualified.Some experience of running or being part of an interview process.A strong background with over 5 years experience in internal audit.Big 4 experience is desired.Ability to work autonomously and be able to run projects to a high standard whilst working under pressureAbility to manage a large team and manage own workload is essentialExperience in report writing is essential.Strong analytical skills are a must.
