Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading Business Services organisation based in Barnsley who are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager.
This role sits within the commercial finance team working closely with the Sales team managing the new business bid process from a financial perspective, ensuring accurate financials and sign off at the appropriate level within the business.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
-Managing the new business bid process
-Review of completed proposals for bids i.e. financial and commercial review
-Supporting sellers on building financial proposals for large bids and reviewing
-Ensuring proposals are approved at the appropriate level within the organisation and adhering to strict bid deadlines
-Maintenance of standard bid model to be used by sellers to build financial proposals
-Collation and maintenance of key benchmark information
-Adding value by working with wider organisation to ensure business initiatives that positively impact the P&L are incorporated into new business bids
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
-Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
-Proven experience in a financial / commercial role
-Strong analytical skills
-Advanced Excel skills
-Ability to process detail but be able to view the 'bigger picture'
-Ability to work cross functionally
-Ability to interpret financial data
-Evidence of excellent communication skills and ability to challenge appropriately
