Management Accountant - An exciting career not a job

With a hugely exciting growth path ahead, the team are looking to welcome a commercially-focussed Management Accountant who can bring inventory experience into the finance team as they look to expand sales into new overseas markets. Working out of their head office in Newcastle, you will have ownership of the inventory purchase order process, monitor day-to-day inventory levels and reconcile weekly counts at multiple and third party locations to their Sage 200 accounting system. With a focus on margin control and management of the inward / outward goods processes, from raw materials and components through to sales order and despatch, you'll work across all departments and with supply chain partners to maximise efficiencies and streamline production. Being able to bring personality, ambition, drive and the right attitude are critical for the success of this role, along with proven technical management accounting experience. Versatility is important as you will be encouraged to bring new ideas to the business to help it grow, as well as support all technical aspects of management accounting for the group. Those with previous FMCG and or Sage 200 knowledge would be of particular interest, whilst not essential, those with exposure to exporting and international trade would be welcomed. The position is open to those qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
