With a newly structured finance team, Red Kite are looking for a Financial Accountant to work with the Senior Finance Manager to build on the solid foundations that have already been laid, so that your team become experts in their field and give everyone at Red Kite the support and advice they need when it comes to managing their money.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Financial Accountant will be:

Working with the Senior Finance Manager and managers at all levels in the Group, you will need to recognise priorities and give them the confidence to deliver a service that makes the best use of Red Kites resources, with their customers and the excellent services they deserve, as your focus.

As part of a team of ten (including three direct and three indirect reports), your experience in leading excellent teams and partnering with colleagues to deliver outcomes will make sure that Finance plays its full role in shaping and delivering our future ambitions. Developing the known, and also identifying the less visible potential within the team is fundamental to Red Kite as they seek to GROW the skills and experience within Finance and the wider business.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Financial Accountant will need to understand the below:

How Red Kite manage their money is one of the best success stories and they have a track record of delivering substantial savings while continuing to deliver great services.

You'll need to be confident, organised, influential and a real people person to fit within our team.

They're also after a qualified CCAB accountant with experience in working in Social Property and Housing or a related sector.

The successful candidate will have familiarity with FRS102 and utilising this knowledge and experience to coordinate the successful production of the financial statements for the Group.

Experience in business planning (over a 30-year period) is a bonus but not essential.
