Description
- Lead and develop a motivated and efficient finance organisation in line with company values, leadership principles and other elements in the company's governance framework.
- Act proactively as a senior manager on finance processes, financial performance, risk management and corporate issues within the Group of companies.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with business managers and ensure that the finance function is providing the appropriate level of support.
- Secure quality and compliance in finance and accounting processes for all legal entities.
- Drive and support Finance Transformation initiatives including implementation of new solutions, processes and consolidation of transactional workload.
- Ensure good cooperation between local Finance and the Finance Shared Service centre and monitor that deliverables are in accordance with agreed SLAs.
- Be an active member of the GBS global team, contributing to and supporting GBS initiatives.
- Create an environment with focus on learning and growth to ensure development of future talents.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or MBA and MUST be a member of any professional accounting body ( ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA/MIA )
- Analytical and structured with the ability to work on own initiative and in teams.
- Solid finance and accounting background with strong understanding of complex statutory, tax and legal issues and topics.
- Can quickly grasp complex business issues and drive change and improvement initiatives
- Good track record on people management and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Attractive salary package (RM35,000 to RM50,000 depending on experience)
