Interim Finance Manager

A broad senior level role combining significant business partnering elements, contribution to building knowledge of accounting processes across the business, insightful management information/reporting and high level analysis to support major decisions.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Business partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver budgeted performance through provision of insightful management information
• Responsibility for ensuring team month end activities and associated commentaries are completed on time
• Acting as a subject matter expert for various key topics
• Supporting the business around business cases and bids
• Participating in customer reviews and providing input and liaison around this
• Production of ad-hoc reporting to understand/monitor costs and revenues for major projects
• Ongoing liaison with key stakeholders, ensuring they are kept informed of key financial decisions

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Demonstrate a strong technical Finance understanding (ideally with a prior practice/audit background, however this is not essential)
• Have a varied background, with evidence of business partnering, ownership of a P&L, project accounting and consolidations, ideally within a larger company environment
• Show experience of having dealt successful with internal and external stakeholders
• Be a clear and confident communicator across all levels
• Be an accomplished systems user, including reporting tools (i.e. Business Objects)
• Be available either immediately or with a maximum of 4 weeks' notice
