The Management Accountant is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager to provide financial support to the business by monitoring actual spend, completion of period end accounting and annual reporting by set group deadlines.

The post holder will be required to supervise work of other members of the finance team.

  • Monthly Management accounts pack preparation
  • Accruals & Prepayments
  • Journal posting
  • Income analysis
  • Inventory calculations and postings
  • Cash Flow forecasting
  • Fixed Assets
  • Intercompany Reconciliations
  • Balance sheet reconciliation completion
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Provide cover and support for AP and AR staff
  • Year-end audit analysis
  • Ensure all processes are documented and are kept up to date
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

    • Profile

    • CIMA/ACCA qualified
    • Previous management accounts preparation experience
    • Strong organisational skills
    • Confident and able to work under own initiative
    • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
    • Excellent communication skills
