Due to Current and projected growth, this group of SME business are looking to appoint an FC to work with the CFO, supporting effective and profitable decision making.
Client Details
Growing SME group with ambitious plans and a great position in their market, located in North Nottinghamshire, easily accessible from Mansfield, Newark and Worksop
Description
Manage the day to day activities of the transactional and accounting team. 9+ separate statutory entities using Sage.
Preparation of monthly and weekly MI and management accounts in accordance with deadlines - setting, managing and monitoring compliance and streamlining processes (including making best use of systems and reducing manual processes).
Development of monthly consolidated management accounts suite including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
Development and progression of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting and treasury processes.
Ensure up to date with UK GAAP to lead the annual statutory accounts process, developing working paper files and reconciliations to ensure readiness for implementation of external audit process from 2020 onwards.
Decision support, analysis and modelling as required.
Support and participate in the monthly SMT business review meeting processes.
Manage the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting process.
Profile
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of team management in an SME; you will be hands on, able to think strategically and capable of managing senior operational stakeholders.
Job Offer
50-60k plus bonus
