**Your opportunity Our Banking and Capital Markets Group is a dedicated team of professionals with deep technical accounting and financial reporting skills, in-depth knowledge of financial instruments and substantial experience of the banking and capital markets industry.**As an Assistant Manager within Deloitte's Corporate Treasury Audit team, you will have the opportunity to help us to continue to build a business focused on serving the world's leading Corporate Treasuries with their most complex business challenges. Our group works across our Corporate Finance, Audit and Assurance, Consulting and Tax practices providing deep treasury experience in financial products and markets, risk management, systems, governance, valuation and accounting.

**Your role** Our Corporate Treasury Audit and Advisory team is experiencing an exceptional rate of growth, which will ensure you have a range of exciting opportunities in the future. We continue to contribute heavily to the Deloitte response to the challenging market conditions assisting our clients in a broad range of contexts including treasury strategies and policies, structured transactions, valuations for financial instruments, new accounting standards and specialist financial instrument input into external audits. The work we offer to applicants at Assistant Manager level includes:

Providing specialist support to external audit teams, including derivative valuations, hedge accounting and financial instrument classifications *

Assisting with external audit of Treasury functions for FTSE100 clients which involves auditing the end to end Treasury lifecycle *

Risk management assessments including foreign exchange, interest rate, liquidity, funding, credit and commodities *

Assisting with internal audits of treasury functions and writing the assessment reports on those. *

Technical support on accounting projects such as IFRS 9 Financial Instruments *

Financial instruments accounting advice to clients or internal teams *

Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution Our Corporate Treasury Audit and Advisory team forms part of the Financial Instruments Treasury and Securitisation team, which is part of the Banking and Capital Markets Audit Group. The latter provides a range of complimentary services including audit, assurance, regulatory and risk advisory services to major financial services companies and multinational corporates operating in the UK and abroad. We would anticipate successful candidates working closely within our team and the wider Banking and Capital Markets Group and Corporate Audit groups as we continue to service our clients.

**Your professional experience**

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent *

Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers *

Previous audit experience is essential *

Prior experience in a Corporate Treasury function or in treasury advisory services *

Ability to interact with clients and other professionals across the firm *
