Junior Business Analyst - Finance

Responsibilities within your new role

• Supporting the team day-to-day with responsibilities of analysing company data to provide the most insightful information
• Report accurate finance information on areas such as sales, order intake, order book, and provide recommendations for further improvements on processes and efficiency
• Assist in consolidation of month-end reports, ensuring that accurate and within set deadlines.
• Providing insight, providing the ability to challenge colleagues around the business to help deliver strategic plans and objectives

Skills desired/Required

• University degree in Accounting / Finance
• Strong mathematic skills / A-level results in maths and or statistics
• Strong Excel skills - formulas and pivot tables
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience working in a commercial business
• CIMA / ACCA or similar
• Ability to build business relationships
• Previous knowledge working on SAP would be an advantage to your application
• Willing to learn and embrace challenges

What you should do now

This role is working 37.5 hours per week, offering 25 days' holiday per year as well as other benefits such as PMI, Life insurance and a company pension. If successful, you will go through a two-stage interview which will both be face to face with senior members of the finance team at the Hitchin office. At the first stage interview, you will be asked to complete an excel work test. I am looking to get some successful candidates to interview around the 18th/19th May for first interview stage.
