Finance Manager

Working exclusively with this Leicester based organisation, Vanilla Recruitment are looking to identify a well-rounded Finance professional to join a growing organisation who are going through an exciting period of accelerated growth and change. Working as part of this close-knit team, you will bring rounded accounting experience to the organisation as well as working closely with external partners and provide support on new business projects.

You will be a natural people person and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver organisational goals.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Managing Director ensuring all financial controls and measure are in place and reported in line with agreed timescales
• Produce monthly reports on sales, costs benefit analysis
• Liaise with external bodies and suppliers
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs, and ensure all postings are completed in time for submission
• Provide monthly insight around costing and any associated variance
• Act as a point of contact to support the MD around HR issues and staff performance

Skills and experience required:

• CIMA / ACCA part qualified or QBE will be considered
• Experience of working with IS0 would be highly advantageous
• Technically knowledgeable along with good commercial acumen
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential along with experience of using integrated ERP systems for accounting and reporting
• Very 'hands on' approach to work
• Flexible approach to work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and benefits:

• £30,000 - £34,000 + Pension + Holiday
