Are you an experienced and qualified Finance Manager / Financial Controller? Does the idea of driving change in a growing business appeal to you? Are you looking for a financial management role where you will have commercial input? Reed Finance have been retained on an exclusive basis to work with a medium sized business located outside of Cambridge who have created a new role for a hands on, enthusiastic and commercial Financial Controller. Reporting to the senior stakeholders, who actively working to takethe company to the next level, youwill be involved in determining financial impact of strategic business decisions, providing financial data and advice to inform business strategy, relaying
financial performance information to the management team and key focus is to maintain the financial health of the organisation. Managing a small finance team, the post will include, but not limited to -
- Preparing the Management Accounts for internal and external use
- Analyse financial performance and forecast for long term
- Recommend methods and strategies for cutting costs and improving efficiencies
- Maintain records and supervising of all ledgers
- Research and development monitoring and reporting
- Prepare annual budgets with the leadership team and report on these in regular intervals
- Responsible for precise and accurate reporting and information to Auditors, VAT returns and reconciliations
- Implement new procedures where appropriateto support of the growth of the business This is a unique business who have developed a sound reputation in their field and the growth plans are realistic. We are looking for those who hold a professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, who have sound knowledge of the latest accounting regulations and legislation's.
You will likely have experience in an industry such as manufacturing, engineering,
construction, or distribution. You will have a strong commercial acumen, possess excellent business partner and analytical skills and able to perform under pressure and to deadlines.
