ispartnered with a fantastic South Birmingham based client to recruit a permanent Finance Manager. This role will be managing a small team and report directly into the Financial Director. Duties & responsibilities: Day to day operations

• Monitor Cash flow Actuals, provide 4 month rolling forecasts and investigate significant movements (expected and unexpected);

• Carryout proactive cashflow management, working with the team to agree supplier payments which strike a balance between contractual payment terms while maintaining adequate cash balances;

• Ensure that the business has adequate foreign currency contracts in place in order to minimize exposure to currency movements and advise the FD on future currency requirements

• Monitor Debit balances in the creditors ledger, investigate and claim back money from suppliers where able

• Maintain company credit card spending with Corporate card.

• Take control of physical ticket stocks and review weekly to ensure they are adequate for future demand

• General office management

• Take responsibility for the monthly payroll to ensure it is submitted in time with pay dates once approved by Directors

• Check the payroll to the pay slips, liaise with payroll company (Growth Partners) to correct where needed. Month end reporting

• Update all the Payroll files with the payroll reports to post the monthly Journal

• Update all other journals with extracted data from Qlik View for Month End

• Review organisational margins and document movements

• Update currency rates in Access to revalue all Banks

• Review at top level and investigate any anomalies

• Review accounts with Assistant Accountant and investigate anomalies

• Update the group reporting pack

• Ensure all Cash flow, Balance Sheet and P&L are up to date, balance and control accounts are reconciled.

• Review results with Finance Director Skills and Experience

• CCAB qualified accountant ACCA, ACA or CIMA or Part Qualified

• Experience of producing statutory accounts and working with external auditors;

• Excellent maths and IT skills particularly in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Outlook).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrate good business sense and commercial awareness.
