Our client is an award winning DFM and after another successful 12 months growth, they are looking to expand their top team in the Salisbury office. The ideal applicant will be an experienced finance assistant/bookkeeper from a commercial/professional background. AAT/ACCA/relevant qualification would be desirable although not essential. individual that thrives on making process improvements and has meticulous attention to detail. Role Purpose Working as part of a small team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the finance function for the organisation, as well as supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc accounts tasks. Primary Accountabilities • Bank reconciliations • Banking - posting all bank transactions including direct debits, standing orders, bank transfers, supplier payments and receipts • Managing and processing company card expenditure • Recording, reconciling, reporting and paying expenses on a monthly basis • Quarterly preparation and reconciliation of the company VAT return for sign off by FD • Preparation of information and financials

• Completing payroll for a team of 12 • Deliver an agreed monthly financial information report to the FD and Board of Directors • Preparing cash flow statements and financial forecasts • Key advisor to non-financial staff on financial procedures ensuring compliance with guidelines and protocols • Assist with year end reporting and annual auditing Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required • Experience/knowledge of Financial Services and Investment Management • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Organised and methodical • Strong IT/computer skills • Strong numeracy and literary skills • Enthusiasm to develop this new role
