Senior Management Accountant - Central London Firm - £50,000
Your new company A mid-tier firm in Central London who offer a wide range of services for clients in the United Kingdom and Internationally. There is a fully stocked kitchen with an assortment of teas, coffees and breakfast items. You will be joining a growing, award winning
International Outsourcing team.
Your new role You will be responsible for the full review of management accounts, including resolving queries and accuracy checks. You will prepare complex financial reporting packs consisting of consolidated accounts, revenue reconciliations, multi-currency, multi-territory
and departmental reporting. You will review VAT returns, EC sales lists and Intrastat returns, arranging any payments necessary. Review of payment runs and online BACs payment submissions.
You will have your own portfolio of up to 15 clients, ensuring you maintain excellent relations, acting as the main point of contact. You will manage WIP and complete billing ; understanding client contracts, ensuring a thorough understanding of the contracted
scope of work and agreeing additional fees where required. You will supervise and provide training for Accounts Assistants and Financial Administrators, in addition to liaising with teams across the firm together with international local service providers
for completion of UK and global compliance tasks.
What you'll need to succeed Experience working in an accountancy practice (essential) ACA / ACCA qualified accountant Strong experience in reviewing full monthly management accounts, as well as preparation Thorough understanding of comprehensive VAT reporting requirements - imports, sales and purchases of EC goods and services Excellent technical ability Xero experience Strong IT skills Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines Very strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with clients An analytical approach with good attention to detail Self-discipline, proactivity and ability to make and justify own decisions An enthusiastic, smart-working individual with a "can do" attitude is vital A willingness to learn and grow within a commercial environment where client care is the primary focus Smart and professional in appearance
