Semi Senior Accountant/Accounts Assistant - £18,000 - £20,000 - plus study support The Role Our client is a well established independent firm of Accountants are looking to recruit a qualified AAT or part qualified ACCA Semi Senior Accountant/Accounts Assistant to join the firms Dinnington office. The firm supports a variety of clients which consists of mainly small growing businesses to medium sized OMB's, providing accounting services which includes management accounting, statutory accounting, business advisory services (cashflow forecasting, budgeting,

strategic advice), tax and VAT advice, as a result the role will offer an excellent opportunity to develop experience within a full accounting environment. Duties and Responsibilities The successful individual will assist in the following : Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts Client Bookkeeping which will include working at client premises Preparing corporate and personal tax returns Preparation of VAT returns Skills and Qualities To be considered for this position it is likely you will be a part qualified ACCA or finalist/qualified AAT with at least 3 years of experience working within a firm of accountants. You will have developed experience of preparing statutory accounts and tax

computation with little supervision. Applications of individuals who have decided not to take the formal qualification route but have developed suitable experience within a firm of accountants would also be encouraged. A good working knowledge of Sage and Xero accounting software will also be a distinct advantage.
