Ada , National College for Digital Skills is moving from its start-up to scale up phase. Having opened its doors in September 2016, the College now educates approximately 400 students. Almost 50% are from socially disadvantaged backgrounds and just under a third are young women.
We are now seeking a new Director of Finance and Corporate Services to lead a high-performing team to new heights and provide the support and guidance needed to help Ada begin to scale its impact over the next 3 years and beyond. We are searching for a talented finance professional with experience of broader operational management. The appointed candidate will also champion for Ada's unique mission and have a passion for supporting young people to succeed, especially young women and those from tougher backgrounds.
The right candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the College's future success and will join at an exciting time in our evolution. We are looking for someone who is engaging, proactive, influential and aligned to our values; someone who will lead change management and who will support and motivate colleagues to be as efficient as possible with their budget, operations and team to drive high performance.
It is essential that the successful candidate holds a full-qualification from a major accountancy body (ACA, ACMA, ACCA, CIPFA)
We reward our staff with a good benefits package, including generous holidays, 10% pension contributions and excellent development opportunities through our industry partners. We ensure all staff are well supported to continuously develop themselves and their teams.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Therefore, the ability to speak and write fluently is an essential requirement of the role.
Ada is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and its staff. We expect everyone to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks including an enhanced DBS check.
We are recognised as a disability confident employer and positively encourage applications from all social, gender and ethnicity backgrounds.
