Our client a public sector institution based in South Dublin is currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant with Payroll experience on an ongoing contract basis with a view to permanency. Joining a small but busy Finance team your role will involve accounts, payroll and some administration. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for: All aspects of weekly and monthly payroll Payments and receipts for petty cash, posting transactions and balancing with nominal ledger monthly Processing creditor invoices, reconciling statements and dealing with queries VAT returns Bank Lodgements The role will also be responsible for additional administrative and coordination duties The successful candidate will ideally be IATI qualified or working towards, with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role including experience of managing payroll, ideally with Sage Micropay.
