Role Purpose Ensuring Group companies and permanent establishments in the Middle East and Europe CIS Regions are fully compliant with the relevant corporate income tax regulations including primary responsibility for the preparation and review of Corporate Income Tax returns in all jurisdictions in the Region where the Group has a tax presence and assisting with managing the transfer pricing obligations in the Region. Responsibilities Responsible for CIS & CEE market Preparation and filing of Corporate Income Tax returns for all Aspen's CIS & CEE operations Dealing with other tax submissions as required (e.g. WHT returns, payroll tax queries etc) Assist in design of new reports to facilitate easier work flow Maintain relevant Group companies' Tax records, ensuring they are fully up to date at all times Monthly ledger reconciliations for CIT balances to ensure accuracy and making relevant adjustments Ensure legal / tax compliances for all Group companies in CIS countries and flag areas of concern Prepare the Corporate Income Tax and deferred tax calculations for inclusion into the accounts by way of completion of the annual tax packages Preparation and response in relation to Tax audits as required Assist in provision of tax advice to the business as required Completion of Tax Committee questionnaires and any other questionnaires, as required by the Group Participate in Group Tax projects Assist the Group in meeting its transfer pricing documentation requirements Assist with project management and implementation. Manage relationship with tax advisors in terms of engagement letters, scope of services, billing and deliverables. Performing an advisory role on all financial matters, supporting the business in setting strategies and partnering with them to implement projects. Assist in Budgeting and forecasting process including providing the annual Corporate Income Tax fee budgets Continuous improvement of processes and tax support within CIS Position Requirement Bachelor Degree - Finance and tax related degree 5 years PQE experience; Ideally with international experience dealing with multi jurisdiction tax assignments MS Office - Advanced Strong attention to detail and analytical ability required Ability to interact with people across multiple functions and levels Have proven experience with customer negotiations About Aspen Aspen has a proud heritage dating back more than 160 years and is committed to sustaining life and promoting healthcare through increasing access to its high quality affordable medicines and products.
