Job Description Moody's is seeking an entry-level Production Artist to join our Branding Production team. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, digital and print materials that align to brand standards. The Production Artist will actively work with Moody's core visual assets (templates, icons, graphics, photography, etc.) using Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications to assemble brand-compliant designs for a wide variety of internal and external projects.

This role will help to facilitate global, graphic consistency for Moody's, with adherence to established brand standards and alignment with the strategic objectives of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills, a keen eye for detail, and the technical know-how to facilitate internal business partner requests. A willingness to take ownership and work independently under tight deadlines is a must.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Prepare graphics for use across digital deliverables, including ads, email, websites, and social media
  • Prepare print/press-ready files based on supplied specifications from external vendors and/or in-house print facilities
  • Output various formats of artwork as needed, ensuring production-readiness and resolving any artwork issues that arise in process
  • Communicate directly with business partners on project requirements and timing
  • Research and catalog stock photos for use on current and future projects
  • Archive and organize work according to our internal file structure and project-tracking database.
  • Troubleshoot production issues as they arise, working alongside the Branding Production team, design team, internal print team, or external vendors
  • Collaborate closely with the design team and global business partners

    Qualifications
    Qualifications:
    • 1-2 years' experience in a digital and print production role; previous experience within an agency or publishing environment is a plus
    • Strong written and communication skills, with high English proficiency
    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in art, design, or related field
    • Highly detail-oriented
    • Ability to manage work across multiple projects simultaneously, spanning varying deadlines
    • Positive attitude with sense of urgency, professional accountability, and time management
    • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Superb people skills and ability to interact with colleagues in global and/or cross-functional teams
    • A web or print portfolio showcasing professional work example s is a plus

    Required Technical Skills:
    • Highly experienced with Adobe Creative Cloud applications
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, etc.)
    • Experience formatting and preparing graphics for PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with the printing process and working with and commercial print vendors
    • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
    • Web design/development experience also is a plus
    • Comfortable working in a PC/Windows environment
