About The Role
In this role, you will be reporting to the Senior Assurance Manager for the Private Bank. This Assurance Manager role has responsibility for key activities and deliverables in Private Bank as outlined below.

Operational risk and compliance management:
  • Take on responsibility for key requirements and meet all necessary risk and compliance obligations and activities.
  • Play a key role in the broader Assurance team and the business by maintaining good governance and operating rhythm on all key actions and deliverables.
  • Lead various reporting requirements to the business leadership team and 2nd Line Risk & Compliance.
  • Assist in ongoing management and oversight of risk events.
  • Undertake / assist in business reviews, risk assessments and other mandatory work as required.
  • Learning about the business and processes, and connecting with a wide range of stakeholders and manage deliverables concurrently on a number of matters is key to this role.
  • A willingness to up skill and understand the risk and compliance framework requirements, and translate into application in 1st line will be considered for any applicants that are not existing risk managers
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following:
  • Industry knowledge of financial services, financial planning and ideally investment management.
  • Flexible and adaptability.
  • Practical knowledge of operating risk, quality and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong time management and planning discipline, including managing multiple competing priorities at the one time.
  • Effective decision making and problem solving capability
