A position has become available for an Accounting Officer within a Government Organisation located in Melbourne CBD. This role suits someone with proven experience in the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Claims and general accounting functions. The ideal applicant will possess with strong attention to detail and will need to demonstrate that they have experience in;
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Reconciliations and allocations
- Claims Accounts Payable
- General Ledger reconciliations
- GST and Stamp duty
- FBT returns
The successful applicant will possess;
- Experience in similar role - Government experience will be an advantage
- Degree qualifications in Accounting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Impeccable communication skills - both written and verbal
- A positive and proactive attitude
