Interim Financial Controller

We are looking for a positive, proactive and qualified accountant to fill the interim financial controller role in an exciting growing business.

As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for management of the finance function, production of monthly management accounts and all financial duties for several companies.

Description

• Managing all day to day financial accounting functions, year-end audit processes and operations including billing, cost accounting and revenue recognition.

• Producing monthly management accounts and related financial reports (including variance analysis, budgets, and cash flow forecasts) and producing Group consolidated accounts.

• Co-ordinating and directing the preparation of the financial forecasts and report variances.

• Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Ensuring all HMRC filings are done in accordance with required timescales.

• Providing financial leadership to the business.

• Liaising with operational managers, responding to their financial inquiries and providing financial advice.

Profile

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified (Candidates who are qualified by experience may also be considered)

• Previous experience as Financial Manager/Controller or similar position
• Demonstrate a 'hands-on' attitude and accounting skill set

• Experience using Sage Line 50 is advantageous but not essential
