**Group Tax Manager, InHouse Financial Services**

Are you ACA/CTA qualified with a corporate tax background, with an interest in VAT?
We are currently seeking a progressive Group Tax Manager based proximal to South East London/Kent to oversee the corporation tax compliance process and tax operations.
Reporting into the Group Head of Tax, the successful candidates responsibilities will be broad and cover:
Corporation tax compliance
- Oversight and support of the quarterly and annual tax accounting process - Wherever possible, minimising cash tax requirements - Oversight and support for the tax compliance process (tax returns, tax payments etc)
Tax management
- Ongoing support to the Group Head of Tax to review and enhance processes and operations, implementing improvements to optimise tax and VAT positioning - Responsibility for actively seeking to reduce cash tax requirements and ETR through structural efficiency and advising on transactions proposed
Indirect tax compliance
*flexible as to level of involvement*
- Adhoc advisory on IPT matters, as and when required by business needs - Overseeing and assisting with quarterly VAT returns and payments - Managing international indirect tax compliance
Business partnering
- Proactively supporting the Group Head of Tax on an array of taxation issues, to include M&A/financing activity in UK and internationally - Developing relationships and credibility with Csuite and senior stakeholders across the Group - Advising on the tax aspects of business initiatives
**The successful CV:**
- CTA / ICAEW / ACCA / ADIT qualified - Excellent knowledge and understanding of UK Corporation Tax, VAT and other taxes - Previous inhouse tax experience, ideally in a financial services environment - Working knowledge of employment taxes advantageous - Senior tax managerial experience in the financial services
