Group Finance Manager - Real Estate

A rapidly growing real estate fund with substantial financial firepower that has amassed an impressive portfolio across Europe seeks to bolster their corporate accounting function by hiring a Finance Manager/Controller. This is a high profile role within the business which requires a self starts and someone that is capable to hit the ground running. You will manage a team of 2 accountants and take take of all the financial reporting of the corporate platform in Europe. Responsibilities will include: Management of the financial reporting for platform in Europe (currently 8 main entities) Managing of the audit for 3 entities in UK and Europe FCA reporting Filing all returns (VAT, corporation tax returns, annual return, statistical returns) on a timely basis Monthly management accounts Group budgeting and forecasting Internal reporting as requested Responsibility for accounts payable and receivable Managing the expenses approval and payment process Cash flow management Involvement in set up of any new offices

Your background: Qualified Accountant - CA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent - with experience working as a corporate accountant ideally within Real Estate Good systems experience (SAP an advantage) Proficient on Microsoft office, particularly excel Excellent written and oral communication skills Self starter who will be able to hit the ground running. Organised with strong attention to detail Proven ability to work independently and within a team Knowledge of VAT as it relates to property.
