This is a progressive role reporting into a hands on FD, dealing with monthly reporting, year end audit support and much more. My client are a growing FMCG business within the UK Market and have plans to expand overseas. Their head quarters are based in Watford, you will be part of a medium sized Finance team who work closely together and can offer great support and guidance. The culture of the business is very collaborative and they always look to progress each individual and offer you a varied job role. They seek bright and progressive individuals who they can mould and offer study support to, who have the basics and ideally experience of an Analyst or Accounts role previously.

Description

  • Monthly reporting for head office departments
  • Business partnering with department heads
  • Preparing prepayments & accruals for Head office costs
  • Accounting for payroll, bonus, NI and taxes and associated accruals
  • Company wage analysis and reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for associated accounts
  • Inter-company management and reconciliation
  • Year-end audit support
  • Process and Control documentation and improvement

Profile

  • Ideally a degree educated candidate, however this is not essential
  • Progressive and bright individual who works well as part of a team
  • Part Qualified in ACCA or CIMA is ideal
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong excel skills

  • Analytical thinker and able to interpret large amounts of data
