I'm working exclusively with a growing SME based on the outskirts of Cardiff to recruit an Accounts & Payroll Officer on a permanent basis.

My Cardiff based client is looking to build an exceptional finance team that will help the business reach its ambitious growth plans over the next three years.
Description
As Accounts & Payroll Officer you will be responsible for -
- Input of purchase invoices and purchase orders, coordinating approval
- Reconciling creditor ledgers
- Processing employee expense claims
- Reconciling company card expenditure
- Preparing & executing weekly supplier payment runs
- Coordinating receipt of payroll data
- Liaising with external payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely submission
- Completing wide-ranging payroll & administrative tasks (P45/P46, Sickness/maternity)
- Raising sales invoices
- Issuing customer refunds via transaction portal
- Daily reconciliation of sales data, investigating variances through to resolution
- Producing periodic sales & revenue analysis for management
- Responsible for cashflow forecasting
- Assisting the preparation & submission of monthly VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Participation in month-end journal postings & reconciliations
Profile
To apply for this role of Accounts & Payroll Officer you will need previous exposure within a finance team, be AAT qualified or part qualified ACCA / CIMA, have good excel skills and interpersonal skills.
Job Offer
Salary ranging from £20,000 to £23,000 plus benefits.
