Job Title: Corporate Finance Manager Location: Cardiff Ref: South 444 As a Corporate Finance Manager in our Cardiff office you will be supporting the Corporate Finance team and advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, buy-outs, funding and strategic engagements. Requirements As a Corporate Finance Manager in our Cardiff office, your main responsibilities will include: * Undertaking financial, market and other analysis for, and preparing draft documents on, a variety of corporate finance assignments including; * Business acquisitions, disposals and investments * Business valuations * Business planning and financial projections * Due diligence reporting * Drafting business plans and financial projections * Meeting clients to support the Assignment [GP1] Director to take notes, undertake real time changes and prepare action lists to ensure business plans, financial forecasts and other documents properly reflect the clients understanding of their business and proposed project * Develop an awareness of funding structures and commercial requirements to support assignments efficiently * Have an awareness of the budgets set for assignments and support the Director to meet them * Maintaining compliance with team procedures, templates and standards and suggesting improvements as appropriate * Take an active role in team matters including meetings * Manage time, balancing the priorities of a number of assignments and provide feedback to the Director on progress on a regular and timely basis * Build on feedback from each assignment to develop skills As a Corporate Finance Manager in our Cardiff office, your skills and qualifications are likely to include: * Likely to have a minimum of three years Lead Advisory Corporate Finance experience * Professional Qualification (ACA/ACCA) * Experienced user of Microsoft Office * Experience of working in a professional organisation or commercial environment (Desirable) * Experience of dealing with clients * Excellent numerical skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) * Strong organisational and time management skills * Strong attention to detail & accuracy * The ability to manage own workload and prioritise to meet deadlines * Hold a full & clean driving license with daily access to a car * Able to act on own initiative * Able to work on own and as part of a team * Able to deal with people regardless of their position * Flexible approach, and ability to change in line with business needs * Problem solver with investigative nature * Act with integrity and respect confidential information Benefits The Benefits You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
