Job Description
Management Accountant | Gloucestershire | Up to £34,000 The Company Great time to join the business and become part of its continuing growth in such an exciting industry. Having been established for many years and dominating their sector this organisation pride themselves on promoting good practices. The Opportunity * Preparation of the divisional monthly management accounts. * Close control over Balance Sheet balances. * Produce data analysis reports for both divisions that clearly and accurately show the performance on a number of key criteria (such as performance at each event, progress of special build projects, rental operator performance etc). * Produce budget variance and margin analysis reports. * Carry out extensive ad hoc analysis of stock, margins, sales and trends using Excel spreadsheets. * Develop an awareness of the activities of the Group as a whole in order to identify best practice and opportunities for continual improvement. Personal Profile * Demonstrable experience of producing and analysing management accounts. * Qualified/part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA). * Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and ability to manipulate data from other sources for presentation to managers as part of KPI and management accounts reporting. * Proven experience of entering data into accounts packages (SAGE Accounting experience would be advantageous) . * Organised thought process, good communication skills and ability to express financial information to non-financial colleagues. * Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to meet exacting deadlines.
