Group Head of Finance,International Environmental Technology Business
Our client is a privately-owned international group with operations in the UK, Continental Europe, the US and Middle East and a turnover of circa 50million. The CEO and Chairman are now looking to recruit a Head of Finance to be based at the UK Head Office in North East Derbyshire and build a first-rate group finance function in the UK - ensuring the best possible service to the Board.
Key priorities will include:
Rapid development of a Target Operating Model to support the ambitions for international growth. This will include working with colleagues and third-parties to review all finance processes and ensure they are effective, efficient and robust.
Provision of first-class forecasting, budgeting and reporting support to the business on an ongoing business.
Leadership of UK and international finance teams to ensure excellent support is provided to all senior leadership teams across the business in achieving their commercial aims whilst meeting all regulatory requirements.
Working as the senior 'finance partner' in the group guiding colleagues on key business initiatives.
To succeed you must:
- Be a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
- Have experience leading direct and remote finance teams within international professional services/engineering businesses - with exposure to Treasury work
- Have notable experience accounting under IFRS
- Have delivered robust and effective finance processes - in challenging commercial situations
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Be driven, ambitious and looking to rise to a challenge
- Be based in the Nottingham area.
