Accounts Assistant

Your New Employer RK Accountancy are proud to have partnered with a growing group of companies based in Preston and an accounts assistant you will report directly to the Financial Controller and will be part of a small finance team assisting with the day to day finance functions. Your New Job As Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team with the Sales and purchase Ledger, including resolving the invoice queries surrounding outstanding invoices and building good working relationships with suppliers. As Accounts assistant you will also

be responsible for the General Bookkeeping, Bank Reconciliations, Completion of VAT returns, whilst also assisting the Financial Controller with monthly management accounts and management Information. Your Experience & Our Requirements Our Client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant with a good understanding of the above listed duties. You will have a good all round knowledge of general accounting procedures (Credit Control, Sales/Purchase Ledger, and Trainee Accountant).

You will have previous experience of Sage Line 50, Strong Microsoft Office skills and will be AAT qualified and looking for an opportunity to progress towards a further recognised accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA/ACCA) within a well-established and friendly

finance team. Your Future As The Successful Candidate You'll receive a competitive salary of up to £22,000 per annum, With study Support with a generous holiday and benefits package (including parking on site) .
