Your role as Commercial Finance Manager at the heart of this thriving business will see you partnering with senior Stakeholders, supporting and challenging the commercial performance of various business units. You will be at the forefront of building and
establishing a business partnering programme for these units. Leading and directing a finance team, your responsibilities will look like - Complete forecasting process for your business units Ensure the consistent and concise cyclical reporting to senior Stakeholders showing performance vs plan and forecast Attend reviews of performance with senior stakeholders across the business to assess cyclical reviews, delivery of strategic initiative and overall P&L performance. Managing departmental costs, forecasting future costs and ensuring budgets are adhered to Production of monthly Management Accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet for your business units Complete management of the Commercial future planning exercise Recognition and monitoring of Commercial Strategic initiatives of the business units. Given the importance of this role there is little flexibility in what experience is required, but this could be a foothold into a company that prides itself on developing their employees and tries where possible to recruit from within. First, we can only consider those who are on one month or less notice period as this is initially a 12 month fixed term contract.
This does mean however, you will reap the benefits and rewards of a permanent member of staff such as company
discount, car allowance, private medical for you and family, enhanced pension and bonus. You will need to hold an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent) and have experience of working in an environment such as manufacturing, FMCG, agriculture.
You will bring your operational knowledge of such sectors, and commercial mind-set,
to add value to the business and ensure your success in the role. It would help your application if you have managed people in some way, and you will need to have a good business acumen together with the effective communication skills needed for partnering with senior business heads.
