Inventory Finance Manager

This is a chance to be a part of this rapidly growing retail business based in Crewe. Rotheram Carrington Financial recruitment is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join this expanding business in their Inventory and Stock accounting function. Key responsibilities: Monthly Close and management reporting, including preparation of monthly accounts, timely reporting to the Group and ownership of the balance sheet & monthly reconciliations Overseeing the stock system, ensuring all stock is correctly valued Acting as the primary contact for intercompany reconciliations Management accounting Management information reporting Conducting costing and margin reviews, identifying opportunities and risks Development of KPIs and KPI tools in alignment with divisional guidelines Production of KPI reports meeting group & divisional requirements Departmental overhead reporting Cash flow reviews and working capital reporting Financial planning & forecasting, including preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting, preparation of forecast balance sheet and cash flow Acting as a partner to the business, providing financial support in the decision-making process and inform strategic thinking/project planning Assisting with the annual audit Preparing VAT returns, both UK and EU Preparing external stakeholder reports Maintaining a robust controls framework Identifying additional efficiencies to improve current practices You must have: ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification Minimum of 3 years in a similar role Advanced excel skills It would be helpful if you are also: Familiar with inventories/retail/online business Experienced in working within group structures on an accounting and organisation basis Experienced in handling large data sets You will be: Used to working to strict deadlines Intellectually curious Friendly, with excellent communication skills Confident and assertive when needed A hard-working team player Highly organised Able to prioritise between "must-have" and "nice to have" What our client is offering: A friendly, professional, relaxed working environment Creative input An exciting opportunity to work for a forward-thinking high growth business Salary: £48,000.00 to £55,000.00 per year
